16th King Edward’s Own Cavalry, Indian Army, Brooch

Yellow gold crossed lances superposed with the ERI (Edward Rex Imperator) cypher of Edward VII over the Roman numeral VI and blue enamelled title scroll, the whole beneath the King’s crown in gold and enamel. 6th K.E.O. Cavalry was formed in 1842 and in 1921 was amalgamated with the 7th Hariana Lancers to form the 18th King Edward's Own Cavalry.
