Provenance: Lt-Col Sir Henry Christopher Carden, O.B.E., 4th Baronet. (1908-1993)

Of circular form. Each engraved with the Death or Glory device of the 17th/21st Lancers and inscribed with the 'H.C.C. / 5/6/43' for Sir Henry Christopher Carden, 4th Baronet. (1908-1993). Makers mark of Carrington & Co., 130 Regent Street, London. Hallmarked 1941. Cased.

Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Henry Christopher Carden, 4th Baronet, O.B.E. (1908-1993) was educated at Eton and Sandhurst and was commissioned into the 17th/21st Lancers in 1928. He was appointed Military Attaché to Stockholm between 1951 and 1955 (Commander, Order of the Sword of Sweden 2nd class). He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Carden, of Molesey in 1966.
