Circa 1910



Eighteen carat gold, rock crystal and enamels. Each designed as a pair of oval reverse rock crystal intaglios, each with the joint monogram of King George V and Queen Mary, each in a navy blue enamel surround. Plain gold backs. Each side marked to the reverse ‘18CT’ and with the maker’s name ‘Benzie Cowes’. Contained in their original Benzie’s blue morroco case.

Benzies received George V’s Royal Warrant in 1910 and Queen Mary’s Royal Warrant in 1912.
