Cast gilt metal. 1858 regulation pattern infantry colour finial in the form of the Royal Crest (a lion statant guardant wearing the St. Edward’s Crown and standing atop a larger representation of the same). Mounted on a cloth covered metal post embedded into an ebonised wood base. Overall: 30cm (12in)
