Mahogany ballot with twin projecting cylindrical apertures, the top fitted with twin turned voting ball holders, brass rod card holders, and alternating ‘Yes’, ‘No’, ‘Yes’, ‘No’ brass plaques. The front shadow painted in gilt ’16’, ’17’ to either side of the apertures and repeated across four short drawers fitted with turned handles marked ‘Y’ and ’N’.
