Picture transfer-printed on glass depicting Nelson's funeral car, the canopy emblazoned with the motto 'PALMAM QUI MERUIT FERAT', and ‘TRAFALGAR’, the sides bearing escutcheons showing Nelson's arms and the names of the prizes 'SAN JOSEF', and ‘L'ORIENT' on drapes over the wheels, and across the stern of the ‘ship’, 'VICTORY'. Inscribed below the picture: 'THE MAGNIFICENT FUNERAL CAR, Which was Built for the purpose of conveying the Remains of Vice Admiral Lord Nelson to St Paul's Cathedral for Interment on Thursd'y, Jany. 9. 1806'.
