Full length portraits of the Queen and Prince Philip photographed at Buckingham Palace.  The Queen is portrayed wearing state dress, the Order of the Garter star and sash, the Royal Family Orders of her father King George VI and grandfather King George V; Queen’s jewels include Queen Alexandra’s kokoshnik tiara, made by Garrard in 1888 and containing 488 diamonds. Signed in the lower mount ‘Elizabeth R.’ / 1962’. The Duke of Edinburgh portrayed in the full dress uniform of an Admiral of the Fleet. Signed and dated in the lower mount ‘Philip / 1962’. Contained in matching glazed silver frames bearing maker’s mark of Royal Warrant holder Henry Hudson Plante of Bury Street, St James’s, London, SW1. The arched top of each easel backed frame engraved respectively with the Queen’s EIIR cypher and the Duke’s personal badge. Hallmarked London 1962.
