Bronze Bust of Napoleon I

Circa 1840

Measurements: Height: 27cm (10.5in)



Patinated bronze. Third quarter of the 19th century. The Emperor modelled in the uniform of the Chasseurs à Cheval de la Garde Impériale and wearing the breast badge and star of  the Legion d’Honneur and the breast badge of the Couronne de Fer. The whole mounted on integral bronze socle raised on a column of Sienna marble with bronze mount and square base.
