Measurements: Overall: 23cm (9in) x 17cm (6.75in) x 11cm (4.25in)



Patinated steel barrel, mounted on a wheeled mahogany carriage with steel and brass fittings, within a pivoted mount sliding laterally on a brass arcing rail on an ebonised chamfered base. Possibly a 64 pounder as used aboard British ironclad turret battleships and coastal monitors, and also ashore for coast defence.
