Enquire

18 carat gold topped malacca cane with hardwood ferrule. The handle inscribed ‘P.A.L. / GUARDS CLUB’. Maker’s mark to handle of Thomas Johnson II of Spencer Street, Clerkenwell. Retailer’s stamp of Brigg  Hallmarked London 1888.

The Guards Club (founded in 1810) gave up its premises in Charles Street, Mayfair in 1975 and moved in with the Cavalry Club at 127 Piccadilly.
