Mezzotint with engraving after John Singleton Copley, R.A. Made by Charles Turner (1783-1815) of ‘Warren Street, Fitzroy Square’. Image size: 66cm (26in) x 56cm (22in). Contained in glazed ebonised and giltwood frame.

Dedicated to ‘Her Royal Highness / Princess Caroline of Wales’. The Prince Regent (later George IV, 1820-30) full length equestrian portrait in Field Marshal’s uniform, attended by a staff of four mounted and uniformed figures on to the right, and with a view of military exercises in the landscape background. The inscription content including 'London Published Jany. 1st 1813, by Mr Copley, No, 25 George Street, Hanover Sqr. & Sold at Messrs Colnaghi & Co. Printsellers, Cockspur Street, Haymarket.'
