Silver. Modelled as a soldier equipped for patrol duty during The Troubles. The figure wears regulation ‘woolly pully’ with a scrim net scarf, ‘flack jacket’, lightweight trousers, puttees and boots, webbing belt with pouches and field dressing. He is armed with the L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle. The rifle sling is looped around his wrist to prevent it being snatched in a close quarters situation. He carries a 1944 pattern helmet fitted with a perpex visor for riot and crowd control duties. Height of figure excluding base 22cm (8.75in). Maker’s mark of Garrard & Co., Ltd, 112 Regent Street, London. Hallmarked London 1973. Mounted on a stepped ebonised base.

The beret badge indicates a soldier from The King’s Own Border Regiment.
