Black and white three quarter length portrait photograph by Cecil Beaton, signed and dated ‘Elizabeth R /1958’ in the lower mount. The Queen Mother is shown wearing Queen Alexandra’s diamond and pearl necklace, the Greville tiara (so-called because it was made for the Hon. Mrs Greville by Boucheron and bequeathed by her to the Queen Mother in 1942), the sash of the Order of the Garter together with the Royal Family Orders of Queen Elizabeth II and George VI. Photographer’s stamp to the reverse. Contained in easel backed blue morocco glazed frame embossed with the Queen Mother’s cypher.
