Quarter length portrait, signed and dated in the lower mount ‘Philip 1962’. Presented in easel backed green morocco frame by H.H. Plante of Bury Street, St James’s, London, embossed in gilt with Prince Philip’s personal badge in the form of a  a stylized depiction of Edinburgh Castle encircled by the Garter and surmounted by coronet of a royal duke.
