Chain linked oval panels in 9ct gold, applied to one side with the Duke of wellington’s crest  - Out of a ducal coronet, or, a demi-lion rampant, gu., holding a forked pennon, of the last flowing to sinister, one-third per pale from the staff, arg., charged with the Cross of St. George, and motto, ‘Virtutis Fortuna Comes’ (Fortune favours the Brave) in an gold and enamels. Contained in the case of the Crown Jeweller Grarrard & Co., 112 Regent Street, London W1.
