The collar badge design, based on the badge of the Northamptonshire and Rutland Militia, in yellow gold featuring the the cross of St.George rendered in white gold flanked by half-wreaths of laurel in yellow gold and green enamel and in base a red enamel Rutland horseshoe, overall a King’s Crown in yellow gold and red enamel.
