9 carat gold ovals set with enamels depicting the Eagle of the French 8th Infantry Regiment of the Line captured at the Battle of Barrosa (1811) over the Irish war cry ‘Faugh-A-Ballagh!’ (Clear the way). Chain links and torpedo backs. Cased.
