Gilt brass exterior, red painted interior, ovoid form. The top comprising a relief portrait bust facing left of Nelson in uniform, hair en queue, cloak gathered round just below the epaulettes, within the embossed inscriptions ‘Admiral Lord Nelson’, the whole set against a background of embossed cannon, flags, sails and fouled anchor.
