Circa 1860

Patinated bronze. After Antoine-Denis Chaudet (1763-1810), third quarter of the 19th century. The Emperor modelled in the uniform of the Chasseurs à Cheval de la Garde Impériale decorated with the Legion d’Honneur and trademark bicorn hat and great coat. The whole mounted on integral bronze socle raised on a Sienna marble base. Inscribed ‘Chaudet’ under the left shoulder.
