Silver. 1881-1902 regimentally specific pattern silver buckle, tip and slide, bearing maker’s mark of Bent & Parker, Military Ornament Makers, Birmingham, converted to form the lid of a former 11th Hussars’ officer’s snuff box, the base bearing the maker’s mark of Joseph Clarke, London. Hallmarked 1891.
