Gilt brass seeded rectangular plate with raised burnished edges, applied with the crowned Garter encircling Royal Arms of 1816-1837, flanked by Union sprays of roses, thistles and shamrocks over the gun badge betwixt the motto scrolls ‘Ubique’ (Everywhere) and ‘Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt’ (Where faith and glory lead). The reverse fitted original leather backing inscribed Marriott for Second Lieutenant Thomas Marriott, R.A.,over twin hooks and twin studs. Mounted on display stand.
