Regimental presentation figure of a Drummer in pre-1936 Guard Order comprising bearskin and Home Service Dress tunic adorned with Drummer’s epaulette wings and fronted with regimentally specific arrangement of buttons and fleur-de-lys decorated lace, drum carriage slung from the right shoulder; the reverse detailed with squared-off greatcoat, Thistle Star valise badge, and rolled cape; the regimental side drum engraved with the royal coat of arms complete with drag ropes. Height of figure: 21 cm (8.25in). Maker’s mark of Carrington & Co., Regent Street, London W. Hallmarked London 1988. Raised on an ebonised wood stepped base.
