Steel double edged tapering central blade of flattened-diamond section, the base of broad crescentic form etched with the Hanoverian Royal arms as borne by the first three Georges above double lugs each with etched with a ‘GR’ cypher for Georgius Rex, over knopped threaded base. Mounted on an modern stand.

The Yeomen of the Guard are the oldest of the royal bodyguards and the oldest military corps in Britain. The Guard numbers a total of seventy-three Yeomen.
