Silver. Modelled as a British infantryman in hot weather uniform comprising ammunition boots puttees, shorts, collarless shirt, and topee with 1908 Pattern web equipment with intrenching tool, water bottle, haversack and D-shaped mess tin, armed with SMLE .303 rifle with fixed bayonet. The uniform is typical of that worn by British infantry in the Dardanelles, Mesopotamia, Egypt and Palestine during the First World War. Maker’s mark of Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. Hallmarked London 1937. Height of figure: 20cm (7in).
