Silver and enamels. The cover set with the double-headed eagle in black enamel. Gilt interior. Maker’s mark of John William Barrett. Hallmarked Birmingham 1934.

The eagle badge originated in the seal of the Royal Burgh of Lanark. During the Second World War the regiment was converted into two Field Regiments of Royal Artillery, the 155th and 156th. Of these 155th (Lanarkshire Yeomanry) Field Regiment RA (TA) was ‘lost’ in Malaya during the Japanese advance of 1941.
