Bulletin No. 56 - Christmas 2022

Welcome to our Christmas Bulletin and final update of 2022.

Miniature Bust of Sir Winston Churchill, K.G., O.M., C.H., T.D., D.L., F.R.S., R.A., (1874-1965), by Oscar Nemon (1906-1985)

Silver on marble base. Cast under the direction of the sculptor Oscar Nemon for Asprey & Co., of Old Bond Street, London, W1. Maker’s mark of Asprey & Co. Hallmarked London 1973.

Oil on canvas attributed to John Fernely Junior. Equestrian portrait of a chestnut charger equipped with Full Dress Horse Furniture of the pre Crimean War period.
