Silver and silver gilt. Paper knife in the form of an 1822 Light Cavalry patterm officer's sword with a slightly curved and spear-pointed blade. The hilt is a half-basket with three fluted bars and an ectched grip. 10cm (4in) fullered blade. Maker’s mark of specialist military silversmith Edward Stockwell. Hallmarked London 1874.
