Oval convex shoulder belt plate of the 2nd Regiment of Life Guards engraved with sixteen-point rayed star centered on the Garter motto ‘Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense’ (Shame on him who thinks ill of it) and central ‘GR’ cypher for George III, all within a decorative border. The reverse retaining stud fasteners and hook. Complete with original chamoix liner.
