Of rectangular form and each centrally engraved with the Royal Sussex Regiment badge of the Garter Star and motto ‘Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense’ (May he be shamed who thinks badly of it), over the Rousillon plume. Maker’s mark of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company of 112 Regent Street, London. Hallmarked London 1940.
