Silver. A George III pocket snuff box commemorating the Allied victory over Napoleon of 1814. Of rectangluar concave form with the hinged lid engraved with a seated Britannia, Union Jack shield, victors’ laurel branch, trophy of arms and all under the name of the Allied commander ‘Wellington’. Maker’s mark of John Laurence. Hallmarked Birmingham 1814.
