The regimental badge in silver comprising an eight pointed star overlaid with the Maltese cross and centred on hart encircled by the Garter motto ‘Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense’ (May he be shamed who thinks badly of it) over the regimental title ‘Bedfordshire’ and and raised on a circular stepped base. Maker’s mark of JB & Co. Ltd. Hallmarked Birmingham 1922.
