Rectangular case of convex form with rounded corners, the hinged lid engraved the Egypt sphinx, county arms of three scimitars barwise encircled by the title scroll, over the regimental badge the castle of Gibraltar and key, all beneath a King’s crown. Maker's mark of Mappin & Webb, Oxford Street, London. Hallmarked Sheffield 1913.
