9 carat yellow gold sun in splendour with rays emanating from a dark red enamel centre superimposed with a sword in white gold set with enamel, point uppermost, through a yellow gold crown, as per the armorial crest of the Imperial Society of Knights Bachelor. Retailer’s mark of Garrard & Co, 112 Regent Street, London. Hallmarked Birmingham 1979.
