The first: A pair of Oxford Derby shoes in flat grain brown leather Army Officer’s pattern. Hand stitched, round toe, the interior bearing the retailers label of ‘Harrods / Knighsbridge’. The interior of the left shoe marked ‘Shoe No 1478  Size 9 1/2  Last T2 4’. Complete with Peal & Co. shoe trees and impressed ‘Lord Louis Mountbatten’.

The second: A pair of split toe Derby shoes in brown leather. Hand stitched, round toe, with metal studs to the heel and the outsole. The inside of the left shoe marked ‘A36712’. Complete with bespoke three-part shoe trees.
