Travelling inkstand in the form of a sentry box with fall front inset with watercolour of a Black Watch sentry, opening to reveal a gilt interior fitted with a non-spill glass well with silver collar. Maker’s mark of Sampson Mordan & Co. Hallmarked London, 1907. Registration number to the reverse 507416.
