With painted ash hoops, rope tension system, drag rope, and brass cylinder emblazoned with the Royal arms over the Hanoverian white horse and motto ‘Nec Aspera Terrent’ (Difficulties be damned). Battle Honours to Burma 1885-87. The brass cylinder stamped ‘Henry Potter & Co. / 30 Charing Cross / London / C&M / 1885 /’ War Department broad arrow ‘16495 / 2LL’, and additionally stamped ‘Renovated Heraldry by George Potter Aldershot’. The interior pasted with label of George Potter of Aldershot.
