Russian style hammered silver combination vesta and cigarette case applied with the crowned EVIIR cypher of King Edward VII (reigned 1902-1911) in gold set with rubies and diamonds, with hinged lid to integral vesta compartment and match strike at one end, the other fitted with tinder cord, the cigarette compartment with hinged cover and gilt interior. Maker’s mark of James Bell and Louis Wilmott. Hallmarked London 1904. Contained in its original fitted case of the Royal Warrant holder Collingwood & Co., 46 Conduit Street, London.
