Patinated bronze. Standing figure modelled as a First World War Highlander armed with the No.1 Mk.III Enfield rifle with fixed bayonet and dressed in field service order, comprising Brodie helmet, kilt with drill apron, highland Pattern 1902 Tunic with cutaway skirts and corporal’s stripes to the sleeves, and RH (Royal Highlanders) shoulder titles, Pattern 1908 web equipment complete with haversack and cartridge pouches, canvas covered carriers for canteens, and water bottle, entrenching tool blade, and bayonet frog for scabbard and entrenching tool helve; to his front, the small box gas respirator case, knee socks, garters, drill gaiters and Ammo boots. Raised on naturalistic integral base.
