Yellow gold crossed lances with white gold points, and red and white enamelled pennons, with the Prince of Wales’s feathers in white and yellow gold in the upper section, over yellow gold and blue enamel title scroll and crowned GRI cypher in the lower section. Contained in original fitted case of The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, 112 Regent Street, London.

26th KGO Light Cavalry was amalgamated with 30th Lancers (Gordon’s Horse) in 1922. In 1947 it remained with the Indian Army to become 8th Light Cavalry in 1950.
