9 carat gold white gold rearing horse tethered between two posts in yellow gold, all beneath a St Edward’s crown in yellow gold and enamel. Maker’s mark of Garrard & Co., 112 Regent Street, London.
The tethered horse is also symbol of the Riding House Department (est.1803) that was raised around the same time as the RHA, to be responsible for equestrian standards within the Royal Artillery.
