18 carat yellow gold oval panels, each applied with a wreath of laurel in green enamel encircling the word BAYS in Old English script, the whole surmounted by the King’s Crown, and underscored with the regimental motto scroll ‘Pro Rege et Patria’ (For King and Country). Chain links. Marked 18 carat. Maker’s mark of Frederick Crockford of Baker's Hill, Sheffield & King William Street, London, for Mappin Brothers. Cased.
