Sèvres bisque head and shoulders low relief profile portrait Louis XVIII, facing left, wearing the Star of the Order of the Saint-Esprit, modelled by Alexandre Brachard, and incised 'Sèvres' and 'Brachard F[ecit]’ on the truncation. On a circular form blue wash ground, and contained within contemporary glazed gilt-metal and ebonised frame.
