Maker’s mark of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd, 112 Reghent Street, London. Hallmarked London 1911-12.
Major Francis Harold Fardell Hornor MC (1888-1958).
107th Pioneers traced their origins to 1788 and won a string of battle honours as combat engineers. During the First World War they served with distinction at the Battle of Neuve Chapelle on the Western Front and later in Mesopotamia.
