Original artwork. Inscribed ‘The Coronation of George V 1911’. Contained in period glazed frame, the mount signed by the artist Charles T. Howard.
Charles Thomas Howard (1865-1942) was a Lincolnshire born, London-based postcard illustrator. His worked covered a wide range of subjects. He specialised in ceremonial subjects and is perhaps best known for a series of postcards for London Zoo. He exhibited at the Royal Academy.
