Watercolour heightened with body colour. The wedding ceremony of Prince Albert, Duke of York (later King George VI), and Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon on 26 April 1923 at Westminster Abbey.
Charles Thomas Howard (1865-1942) was a Lincolnshire born, London-based postcard illustrator. His worked covered a wide range of subjects. He specialised in ceremonial subjects and is perhaps best known for a series of postcards for London Zoo. He exhibited at the Royal Academy.
