Cigarette box of triangular form with curved front in the form of a ships port lantern, with red glass over foil panelled front panelled front, hinged lid inscribed ‘PORT’ and over the match striker, cedar lined base and gilded interior to the cover, the cylindrical matchstick compartment above with hinged cover and hinged carrying handle. Maker’s mark of Samuel Jacob. Hallmarked London 1901.
