Electroplate silver plate. Queen Victoria wearing hinged small crown, concealing inkwell with glass liner, sash of the Order of the Garter, Sovereign’s badge of the Order of Victoria and Albert. Impressed with the registration number 192292 to the base indicating the date of the Diamond Jubilee 1897. Maker’s mark of ‘L & W’ / anchor / ‘EP’. For George Lee and Henry Wigfull operating as Lee & Wigfull, makers of ‘Insignia Plate’ (TM), John Street Works, Sheffield. Raised on pen tray base.
