Open sided slide cover, the upper side with engine turned decoration and centrally applied  the Royal Corps of Signals badge in the form of Mercury on a globe beneath the Imperial State Crown, with the motto ‘Certa-Cito’ (Swift and sure), upper left corner set with the Corps’ stripe of, blue and green on navy in enamels. Maker’s mark of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, 112 Regent Street, London.
