Yellow gold shield emblazoned with the Royal Arms in enamels, encircled by the regimental title and Battle Honour ‘South Africa 1900-02’, between the Battle Honour scrolls ‘Ypres 1915-17’ and  ‘France & Flanders 1914-18’, under a King’s Crown in white gold and enamel, the whole superimposed over the City Sword and Mace embraced by a wreath of oak entwined with Battle Honour scrolls, the base comprising the motto ‘Primus in Urbe’ (First in the City’) over a small escutcheon bearing the Arms of the City of London.
