Brass and white metal. Oval form harness fitting or possible Martingale badge for a drum horse, embossed with a Victorian royal coat of arms and the battle honours ‘Peninsula’ and ‘Waterloo’, as borne by the Household Cavalry, 1st King’s Dragoon Guards, 1st Royal Dragoons and 15th King’s Hussars, all within a rope twist border, together with four oval form convex bridle bosses, each cast with an elongated rayed star and the royal crest of a crowned lion guardant statant standing upon the Imperial State Crown - as per the badges of the two latter regiments.
